Nestled in the ancient town of Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh — a place where history whispers through every lane and every loom — we are Chanderi Weavers. For centuries, Chanderi has been synonymous with one of India's most exquisite textile traditions, and we are proud to be its living custodians.

A Town Born to Weave

Chanderi is no ordinary town. Perched on the Vindhya hills, it has been a centre of fine weaving since the Vedic age, flourishing under the patronage of the Mughals and the Bundela kings. The iconic Chanderi Kila Kothi stands as a silent witness to this glorious past. Today, thousands of artisan families continue this legacy — their hands guided by generations of knowledge, their hearts devoted to the craft.

The Art of Handweaving

Every saree we create is a labour of love. Our weavers work on traditional pit looms, interlacing the finest silk, cotton, and chanderi fabric with delicate zari and hand-embroidered motifs — peacocks, lotus flowers, geometric patterns — each telling a story of its own. A single saree can take anywhere from three days to several weeks to complete, depending on its intricacy. There are no shortcuts here. Only skill, patience, and passion.
